Client Engagement Officer

Hobart

Kelly Services is working with a government client that has several vacancies for a Client Engagement Officer to be based in their Hobart office. The successful candidate will be a part of a team that manages clients in providing routine information and advice subject to superannuation policy guidelines. The role is expected to commence on immediate basis.



Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Accountability for ascertaining appropriate action, communicating decisions to clients
  • Perform and support a range of client engagement activities (from early prevention activities to correction) which are tailored to the client's circumstances and also ensures fairness to the client and the broader community
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to provide or obtain information and advice in a multichannel or digital environment
  • Identify, gather, record and share information relevant to risk analysis activities and/or development of relationship management and compliance activities
  • Build and sustain relationships and undertake compliance improvement, verification, risk reviews and audit activities, including field, telephone and desk audits, in relation to client obligations
  • Performing tasks and participate in quality assurance activities or other assignment that the business may deem fit

To be Successful, you must demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to develop a sound understanding and application of legislations, policies, etc.
  • High level of written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable in being in a role with a significant telephonic component
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills is needed when liaising with various types of clients
  • Proficient in computer applications (MS Word, Excel, etc.) with the ability quickly learn and navigate new systems
  • Engaged and supportive team member
