Director, Government Relations & Stakeholder Governance

Reporting to the Executive Director - External Affairs, you will proactively manage key government, industry and stakeholder relationships to further enhance the WorkSafe brand and support business success. Providing translation and analysis of policy and expert advice, this position is diverse and will also draw upon your ability to manage and conduct inquiries and analysis, engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, develop and implement projects, prepare responses and complex briefing materials, and manage and develop your team.
 
Your highly developed communication and interpersonal skills allow you to lead, build trust and represent WorkSafe externally with key stakeholders, whilst also fostering collaboration internally within the organisation. Agile, strategic and accountable, you have a proven record of success in a similar role within a complex, highly regulated environment. With a strong understanding of government supported by existing networks, you can understand and interpret policy and have well-developed judgement and problem-solving skills.
