The RoleA sonographer role exists in a dynamic team environment with a well renowned company in Perth. With adherence to all regulations, the sonographer will be in a diverse team varying in size from a team of 6-10 depending on location. The potential to work at different locations during the week is applicable. The sonographer will work to high standard in both accuracy and professionalism with diverse teams consisting of sonographers, radiologists and clinical assistants.
Duties will include:* Performing scans including: general ultrasound, obstetrics, small parts, and DVT.* Referral interpretation and examination.* Assisting team members: radiologist and assistants.* Demonstration of compassionate patient care.* Utilizing state of the art medical equipment
This is a fulltime or part time role with a flexible start date. A full time business week consisting of 37.5 hour week, 75 hour fortnight with the opportunity to earn overtime. Join a vibrant, dynamic team and develop your sonography skills.
Ideal Skills & ExperienceDesirable applicants will possess:* Tertiary qualified sonographer: - Masters of Ultra Sonography- Diploma of Sonography* ASAR accreditation.* Experience in: general ultrasound, obstetrics, small parts, and DVT.* Compassionate, personable and excellence in patient communication.
