An exciting opportunity has become available with Betfair on a Full Time basis, we are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team based in Hobart as a Customer Service Operator. Reporting to the Team Leader Customer Service, you will be responsible for assisting our customers over the phone and via email with inquiries. Going the extra mile for our customers will be an integral part of this role.
Responsibilities for this role include, however will not be limited to:
Efficiently and professionally answer calls, emails or web chats from customers
Accurately and promptly complete bet placement on the customer?s behalf
Undertake the registration and education of new customers
Manage and resolve queries raised by other departments and customers within stated Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
Provide support to Sales and Marketing teams including, but not limited to, outbound calling and account registrations
Undertake set-up and administration of event data for the publication of betting related content.
Actively manage and settle live betting markets on racing and sports events.
Assist with ensuring team procedures are appropriately documented and accurate
Provide support to the Team Leader Customer Service on new projects and processes
Process customer transactions across a diverse range of payment methods within stated Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
Process and verify customer KYC (Identity Verification) checks across a variety of different methods within stated Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
What you need:
Ability to work in line with operational requirements ? availability to work Night shift and weekends
A passion for customer service and the ability to instill this in others
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be receptive to training in all areas of the contact centre
Reliability, with a flexible approach to working and the ability to adapt to new challenges
