About the role:
  • The Technology Support Officer is required to provide local level and enterprise level support and guidance related to the our client Moodle LMS, Google apps, Blackboard Collaborate, Network, and the community of users/stakeholders.
  • This requires the provision of generalist support to a verity of network projects onsite. Additionally there is the requirement aptitude to assist and provide configuration support to varied user devices and operating systems.
  • Manage operation and configuration of Google Cloud Print Services.
  • Provide input to development of system documentation and user support guides as required.
  • Liaise with other section of our client service providers as required.
  • Conduct induction and on-boarding coordination and support for new staff, students and visiting presenters.
  • Provide domain administration, account management, application support and management of our client's Google Apps | G-Suite domain. 
  • Provide technical support to provision of streaming lecture technologies and virtual classroom environments.
  • Support administration and configuration of the our client Moodle Learning Management System. Provide basic user advice to course configuration and development.
To be successful in this role, you will have strong skills and experience in the following:
  • Well developed generalist ICT skills supporting modern mobile devices and operating systems is essential.
  • Solid experience in Moodle account administration and course configuration is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Google Apps (G-Suite) domain is essential.
  • Knowledge of Blackboard Collaborate or commensurate virtual classroom technologies is essential.
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team, with minimum supervision is essential.
  • Ability to work with and communicate effectively to stakeholders is essential.
  • Demonstrated understanding of our client Policies relating to ICT and Personal workplace Behaviours and Practices is highly desirable.
  • Experience in providing small group training for Moodle, Google Apps and Virtual Classroom systems is highly desirable.
